What a lovely house and gardens! Diane made us immediately welcome and could not do enough for us – including running us out to a winery for a magic meal and then coming out to pick us up at the end! Saving furiously to come back again.
Our son and his girlfriend stayed with Diane and Robert a year ago and loved it so much that he booked a weekend for us to stay there to relax and enjoy their lovely room, their beautiful garden and their hospitality.
The room we stayed in had all the wood paneling and was decorated in the old style, the bed was made with fresh crisp linen and there were nice thick towels for the bathroom.
It was great to sit in their beautiful garden to catch the evening breeze to cool off after a hot day visiting the vineyards.
Both Diane and Robert made us feel very welcome and it was lovely having a drink and chatting with them.
We spent 3 lovely days with Diane and Robert in January. The rooms, garden, and hottub are all lovely, and breakfast included those yummy homemade jams. Bikes are included and are definitely the way to see the vineyards, so many so near by. Great place for a weekend getaway.
