Well Jasper has been with us for just over  a month now. He is quite a character, getting into mischief repeatedly. We have planted a small lawn at the back of the house so that he has a play area that is enclosed and in which (eventually) he will be able to play unsuprvised. However he is such a mischief he keeps pulling the instant turf up. He also has taken a fancy to the rock garden outside the back door. Already I have replaced the plants twice. Even though these are naughty acts, I wouldnt be without him and his mischievious ways.

At long last I have my new Border Collie puppy, Jasper. I picked him up from Pukekoe near Auckland Monday week ago and he spent his first 8 days with my family in Auckland before making the big trip home to Blenheim where he has settled in to a routine really well.
He is so much fun to have around and already I have a shadow whenever I am out in the garden or hanging out the washing. I’m sure that if we have the pleasure of your company at the Olde Mill House, Jasper will be there to say hello.
Gibbs Vineyard Restaurant
One of the dining options available to you when you stay with us at our Bed & Breakfast in Renwick/Blenheim,  is the Gibbs Vineyard Restaurant.
The restaurant is set in a quiet setting down a long driveway off Jacksons Road. Heidi & Chris will extend a warm welcome and I guarantee that you will not be disappointed with the fare that is on offer.
We provide complimentary transport to Gibbs Restaurant so that you can relax and enjoy a few glasses of the wonderful Marlborough Wines that are on offer. When you have finished dining Heidi will phone us and we will come back and collect you – free of charge. We hope to see you soon.
Cork & Keg Old English Pub
When you stay with us at our Bed & Breakfast in Renwick, Marlborough and you want a casual meal in the evening, in good surroundings, then the Cork & Keg is a great option.  It is a take off of an English pub and it is just a five minute stroll down to the village where it is situated.  We have enjoyed meals here with friends on many ocassions.

New Puppy at B & B
As those of you who have stayed with us previously would know, I used to have two border collie dogs – Rosie and V innie. Unfortunately over the last twelve months they have both passed away and I have now decided that I would really like to get another puppy.Â
 So, after much research I have found a litter of  puppies in Pukekoe, near Auckland  in the North Island and I have chosen the one I am going to get. He will be called Jasper. Jasper will be arriving around mid October so watch this space and you may even get a glimpse of him before you arrive with us.
